No Man is an Island
Welcome back!
Have you ever felt like you’re doing your best and your best wasn’t good enough? And no matter what you do it seems like you should be doing more and doing it better. Well, I’ve been on that wagon a long time now and getting fed up with it. So, I think it’s time to find out if this is negative thinking or if my dream really is a lost cause.
Am I to judge my own accomplishments? Or try to ask others what they think? What do you think people would say if you told them what you’ve been doing in regards to reaching your goals/dreams. Do you think they would tell you that’s great or laugh and say you got to be kidding.
I sure wouldn’t want to hear anyone say my efforts have been in vain. And that my dream isn’t even remotely close to becoming a reality. Naturally, this could create discouragement and that could be why I haven’t told anyone what I’ve been doing, let alone what progress, if any, I’ve made.
After all, no man is an island. I would like to get input, but keep thinking it’s not good enough to show and tell. But then how do I know I’m on the right track? Thus it goes round and round; a vicious cycle of doubt.
Ok, as I said I’m sick of all that, so it’s time to muster up some courage and get a few opinions. Then I will know if my dreams are unrealistic or if indeed I am on to something. Who knows I might even get motivated instead of discouraged. I believe it’s called positive thinking!
Are you following me here? It’s time to start being positive and believe in yourself. Let go of negative thinking so you can make your dream a reality.
